Ashleigh Baney joins us for the 2023-20024 school year as a Preschool Aide. With 2 current BG Christian Academy girls, Ashleigh brings her experience, love, and care as a mom, along with her spiritual gifts and office management experience to bless our preschool program. What do you hope for in regards to this school year?
My hope for this year is that each preschool student would grow and develop spiritually, relationally and academically.
What made you choose to work at BG Christian?
From the moment that I first visited when my oldest daughter was looking to start preschool, I knew this is where we would call home for our children. It felt like family. Overtime, I realized that I wanted to do for other students and families what the school staff had done for my family. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of students and make them feel at home.
What do you do in your free time?
I love to be in nature, working with my hands planting and pruning flowers. As a family, we love to vacation to the mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenery through hiking and visiting cabins surrounded by trees.
What's an interesting fact for people to know about you?
When I became a stay at home Mom I never imagined working with other kids outside of my own. God moves us to trust His plan and He equips us for it. I am thankful He led me to what I get to do now.
